The 15 inch wheel base features a 360 degree swivel saddle so you can get stable and safe contact with the load you’re lifting. Two rear 360 degree swivel ball bearing casters, and two front wheels make this Floor Jack easy to move from one wheel to the next, saving your back. The heavy gauge reinforced steel frame has a weight bearing capacity of 4,000 lbs. With a lifting height of 5 to 12 inches, the Black Bull Two Ton Trolley Floor Jack can stabilize or lift most cars, trucks, SUVs, trailers or RVs.

Using an automotive trolley floor jack involves a few steps to ensure safe and effective lifting of a vehicle. Here’s a general guide I follow on how to use one.

First, choose a suitable location. You should park the vehicle on a flat, solid surface such as a concrete floor. Ensure there is enough space around the vehicle for maneuvering the floor jack and that the parking brake is engaged.

Locate the vehicle’s designated lifting points: I always refer to the vehicle’s manual to identify the recommended lifting points. These are typically reinforced areas along the vehicle’s frame or designated spots indicated by the manufacturer.

Position the floor jack on the ground near the lifting point you intend to use. Ensure the jack is properly assembled and its wheels are free from any obstructions.

If your floor jack has a removable handle, insert it into the jack’s pump mechanism. Double-check that the release valve, usually located near the pump handle, is tightly closed.

Engage the lifting arm: Locate the lifting arm or pad of the floor jack. Position it directly below the lifting point on the vehicle, ensuring it is centered and stable.

Pump the handle: Grasp the handle firmly and pump it up and down in a smooth, controlled motion. Continue pumping until the lifting arm makes contact with the vehicle’s lifting point. The vehicle will start to lift off the ground gradually.

Lift the vehicle: Continue pumping the handle until the desired height is achieved. Avoid overextending the jack or lifting the vehicle too high, as this can compromise stability.

Place jack stands: Once the vehicle is raised to the desired height, position jack stands beneath the vehicle’s frame or other designated points. Jack stands provide additional support and help prevent accidents in case the floor jack fails.

Next, lower the vehicle. Slowly and carefully turn the release valve counterclockwise to release the pressure in the jack’s hydraulic system. This will initiate a controlled descent of the vehicle. Make sure to keep your hands and feet clear of any potential pinch points.

Finally, remove the jack. Once the vehicle is safely lowered onto the jack stands, remove the floor jack by reversing the steps used for lifting. Lower the lifting arm completely, and if necessary, disengage any locking mechanisms to release it from the vehicle’s lifting point.
